Went to pick her up just now. She was in the playground on the slide waiting for her turn to slide down. When she saw me, she immediately turn to get off the slide and came towards me crying. She kept pulling me to look at her face as she cried and dry her tears with her cloth. But her crying is very shortlive. Her favourite activity for the day was drawing. The teacher even put a piece of her drawing into her bag. We could not figure what she drew. But I guess as long as she enjoyed it, we are alright. Her teacher said that she enjoyed herself but she was a little teary and refused to play say 10 minutes before I came.
So she quickly bade her teacher goodbye and we walked back to the classroom and she went straight to the fridge to get her lunch bag and water bottle. She then went to the shelf and got her bag and stuffed everything into the pram. Taking into consideration that this her 2nd day here after a weeks' break, she knows the place rather well. I ask her to throw away the tissue paper that I used to wipe her tears and she went immediately to the bin and throw it. In the fridge where they kept their lunch boxes and water bottle, there was another bottle that looked exactly like hers. She was able to differniate and take her own water bottle without mistakes. Smart girl she is but it's a matter of her language skills. We waited for Adrian to come and she was more than happy to see her Daddy but of course with the tears.
Will see how she goes tomorrow. Battle or not? We have decided that Adrian will send her to school in the morning and I will pick her up in the evening. And we will be waiting for the day she will not cry when she goes to school and even waves us goodbye. May this day come quicker.
