I think I forgot to blog about Adrian making an online order of a personalised car number plate for our car. He has been thinking about changing it since he got the car. This is the car number plate that came together with the car when we bought it. It is "774 KUC". To us, Chinese, the number 774 would have meant " Qi qi si" aka "go and die". And the letters "KUC" would have sound like "K U C" again about dying. He and his Taiwanese colleague, William (the one whom we went to their house last weekend) was commenting that maybe this original number plate was the cause of him getting a speed ticket last month. Hahaha. Supersitious? I am not sure.
Here's a picture of our car and the "unlucky" number plate.
He had been comtemplating whether to get a personalised number plate for a while. Finally 2 weeks ago, he made an order. The number plate that he had chosen is " 33 SIM". I will need to get the picture of the number plate from my laptop that is upstairs in the room later. It cost us Aust$465 to get a personalised number plate. Well at least it's something that he like.
Our new number plate that Adrian had ordered.
