New Farm Park and Market Square

Went off to New Farm Park today for this fruits and vegetables market. Adrian asked me to get the Gourmet Strawberries that we bought the last time we went there. It was really sweet and huge and it can only be found at this market which is only in operation on t he 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. it also just so happened that it will be in operation when my parents touch down on the 13th Sept. Well it will be an eye opener for them. It will also be a paradise for both my father and aunt who are fruit monster. I would really want them to try the strawberries as it's not something that we can find in Sg.

Shortly after that, we went off to Sunny bank to get our weekly vegetables. On our way to Sunnybank, Sabrina fell asleep in the car seat and it was only 10plus in the morning. We figured that she will always fall asleep when she sits in her carseat especially on weekends when we go grocery shopping. Anyway, I can rest and not entertain her throughout the trip when she's asleep.

Managed to get some really nice ginger that I need to deep fry for my use during my confinement. Got the vegetables I need and we went off to walk around at Sunnybank Plaza. Went to Kmart and got myself a pair of sunglasses that is on a 25% discount. Will try to get a picture of Sabrina in the sunglasses from Adrian as she fools around with it in the car.

Went off to Little Singapore for lunch at Market Square. By the Sabrina is up and about and can enjoy her lunch with us. We ordered curry chicken with rice and mee goreng. Both dishes turned out quite well. The curry gravy is thick and spicky while the mee goreng is not too bad just that it't not spicy. Adrian went on to add in more chilli paste that was on the counter and it tasted so much better.

Met Adrian's colleague, William and his wife at Yuen's Market where we were shopping for fish and some dried food items. He invited us over to his house and we spend quite some time there. We left his place at around 4.20pm as he needed to get more stuff from a nearby supermarket. So off we went. Guess what? Sabrina fell asleep again in the car seat on our way back home. Hahaha. Luckily it did not affect her bedtime as she is already asleep now. Small little piggy.
