Unigroup Worldwide relocation service

This morning was mad rush for us all. It started off with the relocation movers coming over to our place to pack all the things that we wanted to ship over to Australia. We finally decided on engaging UniGroup Worldwide services. After seeing so many sales personnel from different companies, we are very pleased with the services and the price is reasonable from UniGroup.

As I am pregnant, I am not supposed to be around while the movers are around. Thus I had to bring Sabrina to Toys R Us at Vivo. We still need to buy a toy that she likes but is not available in Australia based on Adrian’s Reece 2 weeks back. But our little princess chose of all days to sleep in late and we had a hard time trying to wake her up from her deep slumber. In the end we had no choice but to place her in t he pram and that is when she finally woke up.

We enlisted my brother’s help for the day as we feel that Adrian might not be able to cope with so many things. Anyway it turned out that they did not do much as the movers were the ones busy packing.

By the time we reached Vivo City and were just about to have my breakfast, my brother called and informed me that the movers are almost done with the packing. I was like “They just started for at most half an hour. How can they be so fast?” But my brother told me that they room is almost empty except for the computer room which they were currently packing. So I quickly had our breakfast and was just about to go in search of the toy when Adrian called and told me that we can pack in those prepacked seasonings into our shipment. With this new task, we really rushed to Toy R Us to grab the toy. And when I say grab, I really mean grab and go. This is by far the fastest I took to purchase the toy. I think from the time I took to go from the food court to Toys R Us, grab the toy, and pay for my purchase and out of the store, it should be roughly less than 10 minutes. Imagine that. With that, we rushed off to Giant and I quickly purchased all the necessary seasoning that we want and went off to take the train back home.

Just when we reached our void deck, we saw Adrian walking back from his parents’ place with boxes of his old games that my mum in law had kept away for many many years. As there is still space in our crate, we were told to put in as many things we can. After I passed Adrian the things that we bought from Vivo, I brought my gal to my in laws’ place and waited till everything is packed and cleaned.

Meanwhile there are prospective tenants coming over to our place to view the place. Oh I forgot to mention that our current place will be rented out while we stay at Brisbane for 2 years. After some discussion, we decided to lock our Master bedroom as the furniture is custom-made and we would like to keep the things that we have no intention of bringing over to Australia in the room. Luckily for us, Adrian’s poly classmate aka his good buddy is a property agent and he will oversee the whole procedure from viewing, application to execution for the period of 2 years.

Finally at around 1plus, Adrian called to inform me that the movers are more or less ready with all the packing and that I was to go over to check if he had missed out any important things that need to be shipped. True enough, he did forget to ask them to pack some of the items eg quilt, cups, clothe hangers and some utensils. The house was in a mess with bits and pieces of stuff everywhere. Anyway, by the time I went back to my in laws’ place, it was almost time for Sabrina to nap. She was so tired that she fell asleep within minutes.

Adrian came over a while later and told me that there is this prospective tenant that who would like to rent our place slightly less than the amount that Bobby, Adrian’s poly friend who will oversee the rental, had quoted. He was a little apprehensive as they are an Indian family. I am fine with the arrangement and finally we gave the go ahead. However, the tenant wanted to ask his brother to come over and look at the place at a later time as he would also be staying at our place. With that, Bobby and my brother together with Adrian came over to my in laws’ place and had Canadian Pizza for lunch. Everything was finally settled by around 6pm. Imagine what a long day we had.
