Baby Fair 2008

We went to the Baby Fair 2008 at Expo this morning. Feel that it was a disappointment. No much things for this fair. Instead they had many kiddy rides and insurance companies having a booth at the fair. All we managed to get were diapers for Sabrina and some baby clothes for Baby No 2. After I bought the clothes, I sort of felt cheated a little as I think the prices are a little higher that what I can get at Kiddy Palace which also allows me to have a 10% discount of the stated price as I am a member.True enough when we went off to Kiddy Palace at Toa Payoh at night, the price difference was obvious. Anyway since I already got it, I just let pass.

While at the fair, I saw Melati and her family. Her boy is already so big and so is her girl. Did not managed to really talk to her as it was pretty crowded in the hall. Shortly after, we went off to the Book fair which is just a few halls away. Guess who I saw there? I saw Denise. Been such a long time since I last saw her. She looks pretty good. Her kids were with Roger outside while Denise queued for payment of the books. I met her again when we were having lunch at Burger King. Finally I saw Chloe. She looks so pretty and a duplicate of Caitlin, her eldest sister. So sweet. Chatted with her for a while and she went off soon after as it started to drizzle.

With that we went off to the Army Market at Beach Road as Adrian needed to get some stuff for his reservist. Headed back home to put down all the things we had purchased and went off to Toa Payoh for dinner. Sabrina had a great time running amok at Kiddy Palace as per her routine. She was very grounchy by the time we were on our way home. Well......that is because she refused to nap today. Hahaha..serves her right. Anyway once we reached home, we cleaned her up and after her milk, she is off to lala land. I left her in the room to drink her milk while I cleared away the things we bought from NTUC. By the time I went in to check on her, she had already fell asleep. She must be very very exhausted. Now I am exhausted...off to bed now....

Dinner at No Signboard at Vivo City

Had a mini celebration for my father's 56th birthday at No Signboard Seafood Restuarant at Vivo City just now. Had a sumptous meal where the bill came up to almost $220. Let's count how many dishes we had. We had chilli crab, fried sotong, vegetables, salad youtiao, pork ribs and fish. Great meal.

First Trimester Screening

Went for my first trimester screening today and spent almost $360. I do not remember spending so much when I had Sabrina for this test. This is the test to check for possibility of being a Down Syndrome child. Was taken by surprise when the nurse told me the bill. Came back home and checked my old records and true enough I did not do this first trimester screening when I had Sabrina. But I did do some tests for the detecting of Down Syndrome part. Haiz....

My brother went with me to help look after our hyper Sabrina. We went off for lunch at Delifrane and luckily it was not really crowded although it was lunchtime. On our way back home, Sabrina was so tired that she fell asleep while sitting in her pram on the bridge near our place. Little piggy daughter that we have here.
