Swimming trip

After so long, we finally brought Sabrina to the pool again. She was very excited and was eyeing the water as I changed her into her swimming costumes. The last time we brought her there was actually last year. Imagine her excitement when she sees the water. She had a great time playing with kids who came over to the weaning pool. She was happily splashing water at them and them back to her. Adrian accompanied her while I sat and relaxed. Lazy me. Here are some photos of her taken at the pool.

Sabrina turns 2 years old today

Happy Birthday to our Little Princess Sabrina. She is 2 years old today. So happy for her. We just hope that she will continue to be healthy and cheerful every single day. Hopefully she will be a good jie jie to her younger sibling and a good daughter to us both.

Have not decided how to celebrate this special day with her yet. Fil has not been feeling well for the past few days. Hopefully he will be well soon. Guess this has weigh quite a bit on Adrian thus have not discuss with him about the celebration.

1st glimpse of Baby No 2

Finally went for my gynae visit today. Not that I refused to make an appointment but they had been postponing my appointment from December to January then to February and then to April. It really make me quite upset with the arrangement so I made a call last week and insisted that they give me an appointment in February by hook or by crook. Hahaha. I guess that does the trick as they put me down for an appointment for today.

Adrian took the day off to accompany me for the appointment with our little princess. Went off for lunch at Vivo as it is very near to SGH. Had a sumptous lunch at Dian Xiao Er. Our little princess refused to take her afternoon nap when we reached SGH at around 3.15pm. She decided that she wants to play at the playground with other kids and forgo her nap. In the end she was so tired that she finally dozed off at around 5pm. Was so worried that she will find it difficult to sleep early at night. But she proves us all wrong by hitting the sack by 11pm.

Went off for my ultrasound scan. When I finally saw the baby, the baby was very active. Kept moving its limbs. Let's hope baby no 2 will not take after my gal's hyperactiveness. Baby is growing healthily. Currently it is around 3.7cm long. I will be doing my first trimester screening in 2 weeks' time as my gynae said it's too early to do it today. Till then, baby. Grow well.

Happy Valentine's Day to All

The year really pass by so quickly. In a blink, it's the yearly Valentine's Day. Have not celebrate this day for many years. I think we only celebrate our very first Valentine together way in 1998 with a dinner at Jack's Place. Wow, it just seemed so long ago. Nowadays, with all the gimmicks on this day, we feel that it has lost its special meaning. We feel that we do not need to just show extra love or care just on this day with some atrociously priced gifts or roses. To us as long as we are together sharing our lives together, it's more than enough to show that we celebrate Valentine's day every single day.

Anyway, we did go out for a simple dinner just because Adrian wanted to purchase a DS from a shop at Kovan. If that had not been the reason, we would have rather spend the night at home with some good food and some nice show together with our little monster.

2nd Day of Lunar New Year

2nd day of Chinese New Year is usually spent visiting my father-in-law's aunt who is in her 80s. She is apparently a true blue Peranakan. She stays in a 3 generation flat in Yishun with her daughter-in-law and her granchildren. She is very healthy as well.

Sabrina went in her hambok that we bought from Vivo City before Chinese New Year. I spent some time tying her hair into many tiny plaits. Luckily she cooperated with me and let me tie her hair. She looks so cute in that outfit with that hair. Here's how she looks like today.

First Day of Lunar New Year

Happy Chinese New Year to All. This is the 2nd year Sabrina is celebrating Chinese New Year. Her first Chinese new Year, she has not started walking yet. She only knew how to stand up and walk with support eg holding onto the table. This year, she is so mobile that we are having a hard time chasing her.

This year, Adrian wanted her to be dressed as Huan Zhu Ge Ge. Actually, we wanted to get that outfit for her last year but as she has not started walking, the outfit looked a little out of place when she worn it. This year, finally she is decked in this lovely outfit. However, the minus point is that she is not at all demure so the buttons at her legs kept coming off. But she does looks lovely in this outfit.
