Night out to T3

My parents suggested visiting T3 this afternoon. So after Sabrina had her nap, we set off for our trip to T3. T3 is really huge. Sabrina had a fun time running amok while she was there. I must say it is tastfully done up as well. There are still parts of the airport that is still under construction so I am wondering how they can complete everything by 9 Jan 2008 as indicated on the many banners that they put up in the airport. My dad was thinking of going for the guided tour but the lady at the counter told him that they would be closing at 6pm (it was around 5.30pm when my dad enquired about the tour) and asked if we still wanted to go in for just half an hour. In the end, we decided to drop by another day as half and hour is definitely too short to fully view everything in the guided tour.

Though the airport is not in service as yet, there are already some eateries in function and we stopped by at Dian Xiao Er for dinner at around 5plus. Luckily we ate early as the place started to be packed just after we sat down to eat. Little princess was hapily eating fried rice, rice, roasted duck and peanuts for dinner.

After dinner, we went to the viewing gallery and Sabrina had fun climbing onto the seats and walking from seat to seat until she missed her footing and fell between the seats. She cried for a mere 30 seconds I think and was immediately quiet when we gave her a biscuit. Soon she was happily running around again. Hahaha

Shortly after that, we went to take the skytrain to T2. It was by then raining outside and Sabrina was happy tapping on the raindrops she saw on the window panes. It started off when I sang her the song "Rain rain go away" and I was tapping on the panes and telling her to touch the raindrops. Instead she took my hand and started to tap on the window panes. So I took my hand from her and she started to tap on the raindrops herself. Lazy bones.

She had a fun time running around T2 as well but T2 was very packed as well. But I think it's not as packed as T1. As we passed by T1 while on the skytrain, it looked as if T1 is overpacked with people, mostly getting ready to take their night flights. Hope that we will have a chance to bring Sabrina overseas next year. Maybe we can start with bringing her on a cruise and then slowly proceed to take a plane.

Anyway, she was very tired from the day's outing. We were out since 9am in the morning and we managed to reached home only at around 9plus at night. After her milk, she just knocked out. I think I should keep her very busy everyday so that she will can use up all her energy which she has plenty nowadays. It's really hard to keep up with her now as she is super super hyper and to think she is a girl.

Fun time at United Square

We went for dinner at United Square. Have a sumptuous dinner at Soup Resturant. Our little princess enjoyed the food and so did her paternal grandmother aka my mil. After dinner, we decided to walk around the mall and realised that there is a Dora the Explorer Roadshow and the central stage area was packed with children and parents taking pictures and all. However, Sabrina does not seem interested in Dora so we decided to hit on the kiddy rides at the mall. Took so many pictures of her in actions and with the adults (myself, hubby and mil).

Anyway after the rides, we went to the 2nd floor, I think and there was a patch where a projector is projecting some fishes swimming on the patch from the ceiling. We then put Sabrina down onto the floor and let her join in the fun as there were many kids playing there as well. They were mostly older than her but that did not stop her from running around after a while. But the initial stage, she just stood rooted to the ground and stared at the fast-swimming fishes on the floor. Slowly she moved to be with the crowd. Another girl, probably 4 or 5 years old, wanted to hold Sabrina's hand but she did not want and cross her arms but not without flashing the jie jie a big checcky smile. I bet she enjoyed herself thoroughly just now. Will being her there often for her to mingle with kids. Meanwhile check out all her pictures in this slideshow.

21 month old today

Time flies. Sabrina is already 21months old today. Guess she has really grown into a pretty little girl. I can still remember the time when I was told by someone close that she looks like a boy. I was so angry back then. I chose to ignore him. By and by our little baby has grown. Now with her long hair, I enjoy tying her hair nowdays when we go out and at times we get complimented that her hair is tied very nicely and neatly. Hahaha...Mummy's the neatness freak I suppose.

At the MRT station

We decided to have dinner at QiJi at Kovan. By the time we finished our meal, it was already 8.30pm, so we just walked around Heartland Mall and Cold storage. Here are some pictures of Daddy and Little Monster Baby.

On a Friday like this...

Adrian had his exam at RELC this morning. Since it's at Orange Grove Road, near to Orchard, we decided to go there for lunch and some shopping.

Here's Sabrina in her pram waiting for the train at Boon Keng MRT with me. I took a few snapshots of her in her Peek-a-boo action. She loves doing it but somehow she will always cover the wrong places. Used to put her hands on her head, her cheek but not on her eyes. Nowadays depends on her mood, she will put it beside her eyes area. Have to let her be.

At Dan Ryan for lunch

Just so happened that we meet my brother at Toy R Us when we were about to make milk for little monster. He was with a friend looking for this Jackie Chan cafe at Nassim Road. In the end, they could not find it and ended up at Secret Recipe. Anyway we managed to find the Jackie Chan cafe and treid out some of the items. It was not cheap. The bill came up to around $17 for a cup of tea(not sure what its name was), 2 egg tarts, 2 char siew bun (roasted type) and a mango pudding. I would say they it's not really that fantastic for that kind of price.

Afterwhich, we went off for dinner at Tony Roamers behind Delfi Orchard. Like the ambience there. Had a great dinner and Sabrina was happily sampling every food item on our plates. She had macoroni and fries from the kids menu and chicken, ribs from our Roman Feast. She was just happily eating although she had just finished a bottle of milk while we were at Jackie's. I guess this is the time that they will be eating and trying out different type of food that we order for ourselves. As long as we think that she should be able to handle it, we will give it to her. Luckily she is not a fussy eater. She will just eat what we gives her unless she is full.

Digital Scrapbooking

Wanted to do this for a long long time, just that I never really go all way out to do it. It's not really very outstanding as I merely copy the different elements and rotate them around and all. Luckily there was a template for me to follow. For the subsequent attempts, I will try to do it all by myself using the different elements. Here is the result.

Dinner at MacDonald

Today is Deepavali, a public holiday here. Usually we will go out on public holidays like this. However, as Adrian will be sitting for his exam tomorrow, we decided to just have a quick dinner at MacDonald that is near our place. So here she is watching her little mini portable player while we enjoy our dinner.

Dinner at QiJi, Kovan

Decided to meet Adrian at Kovan for dinner and also to do some shopping for myself. Only managed to take some shots of us on our way home. As it was already quite late, the numbers of commuters were not like those at peak hours, thus is can be said to be rather quiet and empty except for a group of youngers getting ready to board the train towards HabourFront. They saw our little monster once we came down and was commenting on how cute she was when we let her onto the ground and she started to run amok. Haiz....First impression. Anyway they were laughing at her as she went running round the waiting area.

In the train with Daddy. She had her mouth stuffed with a fish biscuit before she allowed me to take a picture of her focusing at the camera.
Daddy trying to get her to focus on the camera but to no vain....

Here she is not cooperating with us and the camera again.

Here we are at the train station,Kovan waiting for the train to home. Our little monster decided to treat the waiting area as a playground all to herself.

Sabrina, running amok at the waiting area

Just posing for Daddy who is standing next to me.

Naughty acts at my parents' place

These are some of her naughty acts that she did at my parents' place.

First she climbed up onto the sofa and purposely pushed the top cushion down and stepped onto of it

Next she proceed to sit on the cushion.

Then she felt that she should faced the inside and so she did it.
So in order to add more fun in her logic, she turned round and asked my parents and brother to clap their hands. This clapping hands is getting on my nerve at times as she will want us to continue and continue to clap.

Turning her head to see if they continue to clap for her.

Trying to get down after a while
