Backward Walk

Recently Sabrina tends to walk backwards when we alight from the lift at our floor. Initially, I thought it was just an coincidence but today it proves me wrong.

My brother came over to have lunch with us after helping Adrian carry two dozens tins of milk powder (900ml and 450ml). When we were about to leave the house, I told Sabrina " Wear shoe shoe before we go off". Guess what she did? She started walking backwards towards where I was sitting at the door. She started from the TV console. I decided to move away and see if she continues to walk backwards towards me. She did. It was hilarious. My brother who was sitting on the sofa was laughing so hard so was Adrian who was at the kitchen helping me put out one bamboo of washed quilt cover in the sun.

Anyway, she is now in lala land aka napping. So here I am resting on a Sunday afternoon. Yeah. My parents flew off to Macau for a few days so there is no need for us to go over today and my brother has some programmes on today.

Children's Day Celebration

Brought little princess to school today to join in the Children's Day Celebration. She was a little afraid intially when we reached the staff room. She kept holding onto my hand and pulling me away from my colleagues and towards the direction that we came in from. It was a little funny. Chujie gave her 2 lollipop and she refused to take. Finally she went with Christina who gave her a small pack of M&M. Hahaha..We were all laughing. So while she was busy with Christina and Chujie, I spent some time talking to Chiou Miin. Then came Sarah, Regina's daughter who is almost 3 weeks older than Sabrina. She is really tall, almost a head taller than Sabrina. Well and on top of that, Sarah allows anyone to carry her while my little attitude girl clinged onto me like a koala bear. hahaha, We took a few pictures and will have to wait for Regina to send to me before I can post it here.

We went to the hall and Ajay, Devi's boy came in. Wow, he has grown so much. He is really a duplicate of Narin. So cute. My little monster decided that she preferred to walk around and we had a hard time chasing after her. Finally in the middle of the concert, she fell asleep despite all the cheering and screams from the girls as they saw their teachers performing for them. Guess she was way too tired as she got up really early this morning. I left school shortly after dismissal. She woke up just as I was about to leave making her nap also a mere half an hour at most. This explains why she is already in lala land since 7.10pm right after I came back from my parents' place.

Mid Autumn Festival

Just came back from a sumptous dinner at Vivo No signboard with my in laws. The bill came up to a whopping $396.43. It really was a great meal with fish, prawns, crabs, scallops, vegetables and shark fin's soup. Sabrina even managed to finish one bowl of shark fin's soup, some noodles and fish. After dinner, we went for a walk around Vivo.

In the afternoon, we went off to Plaza Singapore for lunch as Adrian was on leave today. He went for his 2nd dental appointment and it cost him $600 today. He has to go for another appointment next week. I wonder how much it will cost him this time round. Haiz this month's bonus is really spent on all these dental appointments.

Dancing to Hi5

We went to Plaza Singapura for dinner tonight. We had dinner at Cartel and our little princess was so funny. After we ordered our food, we helped ourselves to the bread at the side. So she was happily eating the bread and watching her Elmo's world on the Creative Zen Vision W until our food came. She pushed the piece of bread that I gave her and instead wanted the food on my plate. So we tried to give her another piece of bread and she did it again. Hahaha.

After dinner, we went to walk around Carrefour. We put her in the trolley till the electrical appliances department. We need to get a replacement for our Zojiroshi hotpot. After a while, little princess got tired of playing in the trollery and wanted to get out. So we carried her out and I brought her to the VCD DVD section and it just so happened that they were airing the show from Hi5 Series 7- Holidays. She just stood there and started dancing together in circles to the songs. It mattered not whether there are people walking around or trolleys coming through. It was so cute. I even took a clip of her dancing. I will try to upload it to youtube when I figure out how to do it.

My darlings are all around now

Adrian's finally back from China. We went to the airport to pick him up just now. While on the way there, little princess got so tired that she fell asleep. Well it was her sleeping time at around 8.15pm and she was busy yawning away in the taxi. After picking up Adrian, we went to Breeks to eat. Wow their Potato Island is a to die for. It was really very good just that we felt that it's a little pricey at $5.50 for 2 pieces (which is actually 1 potato). I like it especially as it was covered with cheese, one of my favourite.

My aunt and her family came to our place today. My uncle had just returned from China for a short visit before going back to work on Sunday. They brought some Old Chang Kee curry puffs and my little monster who had just woke up just stood next to my aunt who was eating and just stood there and eat.

One more day...

Yeah!!! Adrian's coming back tomorrow night. He will be taking the 5pm flight from China and will reach Singapore around 9.05pm. Tell you secretly, I am going to pick him up together with our little monster tomorrow night. Why so secretive? Cuz this is the 7th month and by right I am not supposed to bring my little princess out at night. I have been very good and obedient since the start of 7th month. Unless I was already outside before nightfall if not I will not go out if it is after 6pm. But tomorrow is an exception cuz we have not seen my big darling for close to 9 days. I only get to hear his voice. When he did go for overseas work, at least he had his laptop and webcam and we get to see him but not this time as he went with his boss and he think that it's not so nice to bring along his personal one as the boss will be bringing the office laptop. So I don't care if it's 7th month or it's a little late, we are going to the airport to pick my big boy.hahaha... Don't let the old folks know ya....

Bad news is that he might have to go to China again on 10 Sept. Haiz....I was like "WHAT?? Again? But you would have just come back on Tuesday." He said the possibility of him going again is very high. What to do? I told him if you are going, you would have to celebrate his birthday on his own on 11 Sept without his wife and daughter. Hopefully he need not go again.

Anyway, I brought my little monster to SGH for her 18mth booster. She was very cranky and cried so helplessly when she was to lay on the bed for her injection and to think that there are 3 of us in the room. I got to pin her hands, one nurse had to hold her legs while the other nurse got to give her the jab. I was like...ya that's my little girl screaming the whole hospital down with her crying. Anyway when I carried her up, she was a little unhappy and was scolding in her baby language. Hahaha...Have not told Adrian that yet. Will update him tomorrow. So many things to update him. All the damages that our little princess had done to the house since he was in China.
